Janet Hartig

Based in the Pacific Northwest, Janet started her insurance career 17 years ago with Nationwide Insurance. In addition to her extensive loss control background, Janet also has years of experience as a commercial claims specialist. This combination of skill sets has proven very beneficial when collaborating with our clients to provide effective risk management solutions. In addition, Janet is a Health and Human Services industry subject matter expert, providing consultative services on Professional Liability and Abuse Prevention, with an expertise in child day care centers.

Gary Burnett, UL CRP-Property
Loss control consultant
Based near San Antonio, Gary’s extensive knowledge of Texas insurance requirements makes him an asset to Nationwide members doing business in that state. A subject matter expert on property risks for our LCS team, Gary also coordinates loss control efforts on behalf of Nationwide’s National Program accounts.

With more than 25 years of insurance industry and professional risk control experience, Joyce is the LCS point person in the St. Paul, Minnesota region. One of our health and human services subject matter experts, she routinely calls upon her strong background in consulting and private sector safety management to make a difference.

Patrick Wilshire, ARM, EIT, CRIS
Loss control consultant
Based in Upstate New York, Patrick has 14 years of experience with Nationwide Loss Control, and is a general liability subject matter expert, specializing in exposures and controls for Products, Risk Transfer, and Premises Liability for a wide range of industries. He also provides our clients strong consultative services in the Human Services industry on Professional Liability and Abuse Prevention and is a member of our infrared thermography survey team.
South Atlantic region
Kevin Reinhart, ARM, CFPS, CHMM, CSP, FSR-AR
Loss control consultant
Prior to joining LCS, Kevin spent 18 years in the manufacturing industry, with a focus on safety and environmental risk management. He calls upon that experience plus skills in ergonomic improvement, emergency response and preplanning to help Nationwide members realize continuous improvement.
